Two commands are the most commonly used when navigating through command line. There are methods to view the original files, which can be explored if you wish. The easiest method is to convert the file to MP4, which can be done in an internet browser here. It is not easily viewable on most PCs because of its relative high quality. After copying to your local machine, you will need a way to view this file. H264 is the only video filetype available with the Rapsberry Pi. In the above example, the file is in the home directory (~), so all that is required for the filepath is '~/'. Note: The secure copy command above requires a filepath to the file being copied. In order to use the camera with your Pi, you will need to enable the camera port. This will prevent unwanted logins to your Pi, which is particularly easy with the same default password for all Raspberry Pi's. First, if you would like to change the password for your Pi, you can do so. Once the settings display is open, you can navigate through the options with your arrow keys and the enter key. To do this type in the command below: $ sudo raspi-config ![]() The install will take a minute, then we can move on to the Raspberry Pi's settings menu. $ sudo apt-get install python-picamera python3-picamera First, we must install the camera module so that the Pi knows how to interact with it. We are now able to see the files stored on the Pi and start to change some settings.
